GEORGIE AA

Georgie and Driving Raine

Allander GEORGIE

Lansing (Hol) / Driving Raine XX

Bay Filly   Date of Birth  27.10.09

Georgie’s Dam, Driving Raine, is the foundation of Allander Acres breeding program and at the grand old age of 20, will probably retire this year.

Three months ago ‘Anna’ (her paddock name) slipped in her paddock while playing like a 3 year old. She landed on her rump with her tail in the air dislocating her spine just above her tail.  The trauma left her tail paralyzed and she has suffered from some muscle wasting and had to have her tail hogged for hygiene reasons.

Fortunately she had no trouble foaling and I think you’ll agree she has out-done herself with this filly, Georgie.

Driving Raine is the Dam of Laudallander by Littorio and his full sister the much admired Frankie who won the Champion foal and filly foal award at the 2005 Holsteiner Australasian Classification Tour.  She is Dam of Allander Fletcher, the 2 yo, by Carpe Diem.

Georgie, this stunning filly by Lansing is arguably her best work to date.  She’s a granddaughter of Landgraf out of a top scoring foundation mare and it’s a filly!

At classification in February 2010 (Hanno Koehncke, Germany), Georgie, not only scored premium scoring 8/8 but was the top filly foal for the whole of New Zealand.  Georgie is likely to mature to 16.1 hh and carries with her the pedigree of champions on both sides.

Driving Raine’s pedigree boasts some of the all time greats with Centaine, her sire, and Dam, Princess Timing.  We see the Dam line pedigree full of horses like Summertime and Precipitation the likes of which modern Holsteiner horse was built on
