He was Classified in 2005 a premium foal himself and passes these great qualities onto all his offspring.

Carpe Diem is By Carpaccio (who was ranked 31 in his breeding index) He was champion of his 100 day test and won his class at the Bundeschampionart in Europe. He is well known in Europe for leaving excellent moving youngsters. Such as his sire son Chico`s Boy the 2004 Champion stallion and Clearwater ridden by Ann Van Olst for the Danish team for the Beijing Olympics. Also a grandson of the great Cor de la Bryere who was considered to be Royaly breed a stallion who revolutionised jump horse breeding the world over as he gave great form over jumps. He was thought to have the “Ideal Bascule” which he passes to his progeny.

Carpe Diem really stamps his progeny with his fluid elevated movement, gentle kind nature and incredible jumping ability. These youngsters jump anything and everything, feed bins, ditches, banks, water troughs, out of their
paddocks and each other! -while one is rolling, the other jumps! They do it for fun and it is inherent.
